dc.description'Born 1st May 1744, Thomas Fortescue married Mary Pakenham, second daughter of the 1st Lord Longford in 1770. She died in 1775, and he married again a year later, Mary, daughter of Edward Nicholson. he was the eldest son and heir of Chichester Fortescue of Dromiskin and Hon. Elisabeth Wellesley, eldest daughter of Richard, 1st Earl of Mornington. Fortescue was the Member for the Borough of Trim in the Irish House of Commons, 1768-1779.' (Christie's)en
