dc.description'This drawing represents satire whose function is "to show vice her own deformity". A gentleman is shown looking at a mirror held by a satyr where his reflections shows that he too is half man, half beast. The figure of justice appears in clouds in the background. An etching [2173 (TX) 1] of this image appeared in The Dublin Satirist, Vol.I (November 1809). Inscribed in the lower corner of the image is the name 'Goya'.'
