dc.descriptionPercy French was a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin. On termination of his employment as Cavan Board of Works Engineer in the mid 1880s, he devoted himself to composing, singing and watercolor painting. He often utilized both wet and dry brush techniques and specialized in mists and moors. This tranquil view is from the home of the artist's cousin in Anglesey.en
