Description:
Capitals of central mullion and jamb shafts of piscina. Moulding from top down comprises: scroll, roll, angle-fillet, scroll with lower fillet, bell with keel, roll-and-fillet as necking. This capital is similar to those found at several sites across the country including Holycross, Lorrha Dominican Friary, Kilfenora Cathedral, Strade Dominican Friary and others. It differs from most of these, however, in being circular in plan.Role:
