dc.description.abstractThis paper estimates the likely direction and size of changes in manufacturing employment associated with expansion of Ireland's extra-EEC trade. These changes are likely to be negative for extra-EEC trade generally, strongly negative for trade with LDCs and Japan but positive for trade with North America.
