Abstract:
The main aim of this project is to develop a series of nanocomposite materials based
on silica and magnetic-luminescent silica nanoparticles. The work involves the synthesis
and characterisation of silica nanoparticles, rare earth-based metallasiloxane materials,
magnetic nanocomposites and magnetic-fluorescent nanostructures.
